Job summary

Rentokil is seeking an Aquatic Technician to help maintain ponds, lakes, pools, and water features, ensuring health, safety, and good water quality. You will perform routine maintenance, monitor chemistry, inspect equipment, and respond to emergencies in aquatic environments.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 0-1 years in an environmental field, and knowledge of water chemistry and aquatic biology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; science degree preferred.
• 0-1 years’ experience in an environmental field is preferred.
• Knowledge of aquatic biology, water chemistry and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance like water quality testing and debris removal.
• Monitor and maintain pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels.
• Inspect and repair aquatic equipment to ensure energy efficiency.
• Maintain work orders and ensure certifications are obtained.
