Junior Application Engineer – Water/Wastewater Design

Job summary

HUBER Technology US is seeking an Application Engineer, Level 1, to define product and project design requirements from plans and specifications. You will lead cost estimates, scope development, equipment sizing, and proposal assembly within HUBER’s AE SOP framework, while providing technical support to regional teams.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to travel to client sites and tradeshows as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Related work experience in application engineering, inside sales, or technical support is desired.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes is an asset.
• Experience in sales, sales management or project management in wastewater industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project documentation to extract customer requirements, facility process, time and cost factors.
• Develop and prepare cost estimates and HUBER scope of supply for proposals.
• Maintain design and sales files with complete information for future reference.
• Coordinate design activities with CAD, manufacturing and other HUBER teams.
• Provide pricing/proposal recommendations and obtain reviews before sending to RSD.
• Assist in data entries into HUBER CRM for bids and proposals.
• Support QA through handover meetings and progress reviews.
