Job summary

Acloché LLC in New York City seeks an apparel designer to support seasonal collections for the Walmart Big Girls licensed line. You will create and update designs using Illustrator and Photoshop, align concepts with brand guidelines, and collaborate across design, merchandising, and product development teams.

The role requires 2+ years in apparel design, strong trend and color sense, and excellent organizational skills. Onsite with occasional Friday work-from-home is available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apparel design experience, preferably in children’s or retail apparel.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, colors, graphics, and apparel construction.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Licensed apparel experience is a plus.
• Must be located in NYC.
• Position is onsite with some flexibility to work from home on Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of seasonal apparel collections for the Big Girls Walmart licensed business.
• Research current fashion, color, graphic, and market trends relevant to the target customer.
• Create and update apparel designs, colorways, and presentations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Collaborate with Senior Designers, Graphic Designers, Merchandising, and Product Development teams.
• Help develop design concepts that align with brand guidelines, retailer needs, and seasonal trends.
• Review samples and provide design feedback throughout the development process.
• Organize and maintain design files, artwork, and seasonal project information.
• Assist with approvals and revisions to ensure designs meet brand and customer expectations.
