Job summary

Cella is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Apparel Designer to support the creation and development of ladies' sleepwear, loungewear, and fleece jackets. Work with senior teams to bring concepts from idea to production, via sketches, tech drawings, mood boards and trend research.

Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and manufacturers, sample development, and maintaining organized documentation across multiple projects. 2+ years in fashion design is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in ladies' apparel design focusing on construction and pattern-making.
• Advanced skills in Photoshop and Illustrator; InDesign/MS Office preferred.
• Strong merchandising, color theory and fabric knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ladies' sleepwear, loungewear, fleece jackets under seniors.
• Produce sketches, tech drawings, mood boards for product development.
• Research trends via market analysis and events to inform line directions.
• Collaborate with teams, suppliers and manufacturers for samples and production.
• Troubleshoot development issues and maintain organized documentation.

Location: Hybrid 2x a week in Framingham, MA, 3x a week remoteContract Duration: 5-Month Contract estimated August through January 29, 2027Compensation Range: $32 - 36 per hourCella is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Apparel Designer to support the creation and development of ladies' apparel-specifically focused on sleepwear, loungewear, and fleece jackets.
