American Outdoor Brands is hiring an Application Developer I in Columbia, MO. This early-career role focuses on developing, testing, releasing, and maintaining mobile applications supporting our brands and products.

You will specialize primarily in either Android or iOS development, with exposure to both being beneficial but not required. You will collaborate with product engineers, designers, and IT on cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years of relevant professional software development experience.
• Experience on Android or iOS, academic or internship acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain mobile apps for Android or iOS.
• Implement features and bug fixes with clean, documented code.
• Participate in peer code reviews and apply feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product and IT.
• Integrate apps with APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Support Bluetooth/BLE integration where applicable.
• Develop and execute application tests and resolve defects.
• Assist with app releases to App Store or Google Play.
