Job summary

Defense Acquisition Support Services LLC (DAS) seeks motivated Computer Scientists and Software Developers to support a high-visibility U.S. Army project at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland.

Recent graduates and early‑career professionals with an active DoD Secret clearance are encouraged to apply, with no mandatory professional experience required. Candidates will showcase coding and AI capabilities through internships, academic projects, or personal work, and work in a DoD environment

Qualifications

• Active DoD security clearance is required for consideration.
• Entry-level through experienced candidates will be considered; internships and projects acceptable.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• Strong programming ability in Python/JavaScript/TypeScript or similar.
• Hands-on AI/ML development experience and ability to demonstrate skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using modern languages and frameworks.
• Develop and integrate AI/ML solutions, models, and APIs into software.
• Write, debug, troubleshoot, and optimize code for performance.
• Support front-end and back-end development including DB integration.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support Army missions.
• Participate in testing, reviews, documentation, and system integration.
• Apply secure software development practices in a DoD environment.
