Job summary

BeaconFire, based in Central NJ, is hiring a Java Software Developer to build scalable web applications using Java 8/17, Spring Boot, and modern frontend tech. You will contribute to full lifecycle development, testing, and documentation while adopting secure coding and CI/CD practices.

Preferred candidates have a Master’s in CS, 0–1 year of Java experience, and familiarity with Spring AI or LangChain4j for RAG integration. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java and JavaScript in development of scalable applications.
• Understanding of SDLC processes and best practices.
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and SQL basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable web applications using Java 8/17, Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure testability.
• Participate in Agile Scrum teams and own full development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs and deployments.
• Ship to production with monitoring, observability, CI/CD, and security best practices.
