We require a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (or equivalent) and 0–2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience. Proficiency in Excel and GAAP knowledge are essential, with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent education/experience).
• 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; internships welcome.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and basic financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements, GL accounts, and credit card statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and supporting docs.
• Support preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
• Assist with trust accounting and client billing per firm rules.
• Track expenses, budgets, and firm financial performance.
• Respond to inquiries about invoices, payments, and balances.
• Assist with audits and materials for external accountants/auditors.
• Maintain organized, compliant financial files per firm policies.
• Perform other accounting and admin duties as assigned.
