Job summary

You will process invoices, run weekly checks, reconcile vendor statements, and manage customer payments while collaborating with staff across departments. Strong Excel and Sage skills are valued; 0–2 years’ experience is acceptable, with growth into broader accounting duties.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent coursework/experience; 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Exposure to billing or invoicing is a plus.
• Willingness to learn Sage accounting software; prior exposure is a plus.
• Able to identify and correct financial discrepancies.
• Organized and reliable about meeting deadlines.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and the rest of MS Office.
• Communicates clearly in writing and in person.
• Detail-oriented, with a can-do attitude on a team and working independently.
• Eagerness to learn and grow into broader accounting responsibilities.
• Enjoys collaborating with the accounting team and colleagues across the company.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and on time.
• Process weekly check runs.
• Respond to vendor inquiries about invoice and payment status.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Prepare, review, and submit daily/weekly invoices.
• Data entry into accounts receivable system.
• Apply customer payments and remittance advices to open invoices.
• Submit invoices through customer billing portals as required.
• Reconcile payments to pending Accounts Receivables.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller, with training and support provided.
