LG Chem Ohio Petrochemical, Inc. is seeking an Accountant I to support day-to-day accounting, accounts payable processing, vendor management, and financial reporting.

This role uses SAP ERP and other financial systems; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 2 years in accounting are required. Strong Excel skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail are essential. The role collaborates with Operations, Production, Logistics, Procurement, and Corporate Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting, accounts payable, or related experience.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process vendor invoices, payment requests, and accounts payable transactions.
• Maintain vendor records and support onboarding activities.
• Execute payment processing and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Prepare account reconciliations, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with audits and internal controls.
• Assist with fixed asset, inventory, and cash management activities.
