Placements24 is recruiting a junior accountant to support the finance department in an entry-level role. The position offers hands-on experience across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing under the guidance of senior staff.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting, a solid grasp of fundamental principles, strong Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail along with good communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn accounting software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Support month-end closing procedures.
• Help prepare financial reports and schedules.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash management.
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
