Ignite Digital is seeking a Junior Accountant to support daily finance operations for a government-focused team in San Diego. The role involves general ledger duties, balance sheet analysis, and close processes, working closely with the accounting manager to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 1+ year of general ledger or bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP principles.
• Experience with general ledger processes and Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to qualify for a U.S. Government security clearance.

• Support daily accounting operations as a general ledger accountant and bookkeeper.
• Collaborate with accountant and accounting manager to resolve variances.
