Allyn International Services, Inc. in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Finance Department. The role includes AR/AP, contracts, intercompany transactions, audits, and financial statements support.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, and strong MS Office skills. Benefits include remote work one day weekly, health and retirement plans, and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree, preferred in Accounting or Finance.
• 1+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with various accounting software preferred.
• Experience with consolidated financial statements and multiple entities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with maintaining client contracts; cooperating with operations on updating contracts/POs for AISI
• Manage related entries/bookings in the accounting system and reconciliations for AISI, AGTA and possibly ATH
• Compile, analyze, and present reports using HRIS, payroll, and accounting/expense systems
• Conduct regular audits of subaccounts and cost centers for billing purposes
• Participate in period close processes including reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare and maintain management inputs for AISI
• Handle corporate data/document processing and filing
• Support AR and expense reporting for AISI, AGTA, ATH as needed
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation for AGTA and ATH
• Maintain registrations with clients/vendors and credit applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional/region teams to resolve issues
• Provide back-up for accounting staff and maintain SOPs
• Implement new accounting tech processes and payroll systems
• Assist HR with receptionist/administrative duties and meetings support
• Lead projects as assigned by CFO and Senior Finance Director
• Work on AR, intercompany invoicing, and collections as needed
• Ensure reimbursable expenses are coded and billed correctly
• Generate internal/billing reports on demand
