The company’s first-of-kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials for the battery manufacturing supply chain. This role is crucial for supporting the accounting and finance team by ensuring the accuracy of financial data and maintaining robust financial records.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Record: Prepare and record journal entries, and maintain supporting schedules and accounting documentation.
• Reconcile: Assist with monthly account reconciliations and balance sheet analyses, including depreciation reporting.
• Support: Help with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, and provide assistance for Accounts Receivable and Payable.
• Verify: Review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance, and support fixed asset inventories and asset verification procedures.
• Audit: Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation, and assist with external audit requests.

The Must-Haves

• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. This is an entry-level position requiring a basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience: 0-2 years of accounting experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective verbal and written communication.
