Job summary

BlueHorizon is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Los Angeles team. This contract position is suitable for recent graduates or individuals without prior experience, offering valuable exposure to the fundamentals of accounting in a supportive environment and with room to learn.

Responsibilities include data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations; preparing financial reports, budgeting and forecasting; reconciling discrepancies; assisting with audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office specifically Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
