Job summary

Crossmark Inc. is seeking staff to prepare juice and specialty products for purchase, set up events, and demonstrate products in a retail environment. Candidates should be able to read program materials, follow safety rules, and maintain a clean work area.

The role involves conducting tastings, assisting with event setup, and complying with food safety requirements. A state/local food safety certification is preferred. Typical shifts are part time, with varying hours and physical demands.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Product Marketing, Product Demonstrations or in the food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred.
• Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products for purchase.
• Ability to conduct demonstrations and sampling events of other products as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the area for specialized food products.
• Fully read materials to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements and program compliance.
• Follow safety requirements when using equipment and practice proper lifting techniques.
• Adhere to tasks related to safe food handling, preparation, packaging, labeling, merchandising and disposal.
• Complete reporting requirements (including online) as required.
• Regularly check the product event schedule and emails for updates and instructions.
• Complete certifications and attend training sessions as required.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work area.
• Assist teammates with event set-up or clean-up and kitchen duties when needed.
• Conduct food sampling and demonstrations to support business needs.
