Job summary

Frazier Farms Market in Vista, CA is seeking a part-time team member to assist with coffee and juice preparation, customer service, and daily store operations. You will handle cash register transactions and maintain a clean, organized department.

Availability includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays; benefits include health and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, vacation time, flexible schedules, and store discounts.

Qualifications

• Some experience is preferred.
• Possess the ability to handle high stress and volume of customers while maintaining a positive shopping experience for the customer.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe food handling procedures at all times
• Makes Juice drinks following instructions & recipes provided
• Operates a cash register following established policies and procedures
• Listens to customer complaints, examines returned merchandise, and, under the direction of a supervisor resolves problems to restore and promote good public relations.
• Provide outstanding customer service; ensure customer needs are met in a timely fashion
• Ensure freshness standards are adhered to on all whole bean, packaged, and brewed coffee
• Prepare coffee and juice drinks to order
• Adhere to all cleaning and maintenance care specifications of all equipment
• Monitor product quality and freshness and ensure proper rotation or product
• Maintain accurate department signage and pricing
• Follow department procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, and stocking of product
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work area
• Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices

Physical Demands

• In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching

• Frequently lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 lbs
