Qualifikationen

• Detail oriented, highly organized; intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and Windows-based accounting applications.
• Proficient audit, data entry, math, and multitasking skills to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; mature judgment.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred.

Aufgaben

• Audits and/or performs data entry of voucher types submitted for payment.
• Imports, posts and records Cash Register receipt transactions.
• Establishes and maintains case and victim records.
• Keeps Trial Balance of Deposit Funds reconciled.
• Prepares and reviews case payment vouchers and transfers.
• Monitors restitution activity and prepares monthly disbursements.
• Researches case payments for proper application to criminal debt accounts.
• Reconciles accounts with U.S. Attorney’s Office, Probation and other agencies.
• Researches and assesses actions for returned checks.
• Performs backup accounting tasks including data entry, filing, reports, and reconciliations.
• Additional duties as assigned.
