Job summary

Sinai Akiba Academy seeks dynamic Judaic Studies Teaching Assistants to work with lead teachers in our Lower School. TAs help deliver curriculum, prepare materials, work with small groups, and support students’ academic, social, and emotional needs.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Staffulty, supervising during breaks, attending staff meetings, and supporting a diverse student population with a positive, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Hebrew is required; fluency in English is required.
• Experience with elementary school-age children is preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and basic computer skills is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead Judaic Studies teachers with curriculum implementation and student engagement.
• Differentiate instruction using materials guided by lead teachers or learning specialists.
• Collaborate on lesson planning and track student progress and assignments.
