Job description

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing to a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
  2. Design arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.
  3. Design sequence of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment, and other functions affecting product performance.
  4. Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency, and initiate corrective actions for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
  5. Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control, and develop those techniques as needed.
  6. Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specifications to optimize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
  7. Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  2. Two (2) years of relevant experience.
  3. Experience with equipment installation, setup, and qualification.
  4. Experience in technical writing of reports and procedures.
  5. Knowledge of manufacturing process validation.
  6. Availability for 1st shift.
