Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
  • 2+ years of direct automation testing experience, preferably in Windows/Linux desktop environments with automation.
  • Experience in PLC Programming & Controls: Siemens, Allen-Bradley, with focus on advanced techniques.
  • Vision Systems & Robotics familiarity: Cognex/Keyence and FANUC/ABB integration.
  • CAD Design & Wiring: SolidWorks/AutoCAD and electrical schematics knowledge.
  • 3D CAD designs.
  • Development of SCADA and HMI applications.
  • Develop PLC applications.
  • Applied machine learning and artificial intelligence exposure.
  • Available for 1st shift.

Responsibilities

  • Support design, development, and implementation of small-scale automated equipment and systems.
  • Contribute to design and programming of PLCs; assist in vision systems integration.
  • Develop CAD models, wiring schematics; ensure safety and quality compliance.
  • Advance existing tech or introduce new technology and therapies.
  • Lead projects with stakeholders; mentor colleagues when needed.
  • Deliver R&D initiatives from design to implementation.
  • Develop CAD software engineering methods and research techniques.
  • Assess hardware limitations; design development projects.
  • Define new approaches for CAD software engineering; create design specs.
  • Develop routines and utility programs; prepare specs and evaluations.
  • Specify materials and supplier capabilities as needed.

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of small-scale automated equipment and systems. This role will involve contributing to the design and programming of PLCs, assisting in the integration of vision systems, and supporting robotic automation projects to improve manufacturing processes. The candidate will also assist in creating CAD models, wiring schematics, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Develops and applies computer aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems
  • Assessing architecture and hardware limitations, plans technical projects in the design and development of CAD software
  • Defines and selects new approaches and implementation of CAD software engineering applications and design specifications and parameters
  • Develops routines and utility programs
  • Prepares design specifications, analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval
  • May specify materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects and may evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services

  • CAD Design & Wiring: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and basic knowledge of electrical wiring and schematics, with a desire to expand design capabilities
