Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
- Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
- Read, interpret, and use drawings, electrical and control circuit diagrams, equipment, and schematic manuals as references when performing control, mechanical, and electrical works.
- Maintain machines and manufacturing equipment working in excellent conditions.
- Inspect their mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic components to detect or verify that they are operating properly.
- Assemble and install equipment and machinery using hand precision tools.
- Maintain work relations and coordination with personnel in the production, quality and Engineering department.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree: Background (Educational: Electronics, Mechanical, Engineering Technology, or related field)
- Must be able to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently. This includes understanding how to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software-related problems in machines or production lines.
- The ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and error logs is essential to solve issues swiftly and minimize downtime.
- Performs tests, interprets data and develops reports.
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Intermediate knowledge in English.
- Medical Device background.
- Experience troubleshooting semi and fully-automated systems including test, assembly, and other process equipment.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics and electro-pneumatics, instrumentation, laser, vision system, electric motors, and electricity principles.
- Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of computer repair/programming.
- Understanding of Robotics and Vision Systems
- Availability for 3rd Shift (9pm to 5:30am Monday to Friday)
