Job description

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing to a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and operate equipment and facilities, including field equipment, ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures.
  2. Maintain safety standards at all times and initiate and follow emergency procedures when necessary.
  3. Rotate through various roles within the area, including, in some cases, a control room rotation.
  4. Drive and operate agricultural machinery for planting and cultivating.
  5. Perform seasonal work such as inspecting and maintaining seed crops, supporting seed inventory management, harvesting, seed packaging, cleaning, warehousing, and shipping.
  6. Receive and process trucks hauling crop from the field for weighing and unloading (September-October).
  7. Complete harvest activities like husk and sort operations, operate dryers, shelling, and storage of crop from bins.
  8. Supply the Conditioning department with seed, apply seed treatments, and label, tag, bag, and palletize seed (November-March).
  9. Enter inventory data into the computer and stage seed for shipment.
  10. Inspect, wash, and maintain pro boxes (April-August).

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Experience as an Excavator or Digger Operator.
  • Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of production agriculture and plant operations.
  • Pass a background check and pre-employment screenings.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
