Job summary

Education & Training Resources LLC is seeking a Navy Science JROTC instructor to lead classroom instruction for cadets and assist the Navy Science Officer in delivering the national education curriculum and program requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree and retired military status, plus one year of GS-07 level experience; duties include coordinating activities, supervising events, mentoring students, and maintaining records while promoting leadership and character education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; must be a retired military officer.
• One year of experience at the GS-07 level.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Teach, assess, evaluate, and document student progress and growth.
• Evaluate students’ progress and adapt materials and strategies.
• Implement the Navy’s curriculum and coordinate related activities and events.
• Instruct 180 hours of military directed subject materials in classroom and leadership lab.
• Administer, advise, and appraise extracurricular teams (drill, rifle, PT, academic challenge).
• Assist in leadership positions and supervise student leaders.
