Join Our Culinary Leadership Team as a Jr. Sous Chef at The Stateview Hotel, Marriott Autograph Collection.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Jr Sous Chef to join the team at Marriott Autograph Collection's Stateview Hotel restaurant. This is your chance to showcase your skills, inspire excellence, and create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing support to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in the general operation of the kitchen.
  2. Overseeing meal preparation by a team of cooks, including checking food quality and cooking methods.
  3. Orienting new employees to the department and shift.
  4. Assuring high quality standards are met in the kitchen.
  5. Maintaining compliance with environmental health laws.
  6. Building relationships with managers and front-of-house teams.
  7. Managing inventory and stock control.
  8. Organizing produce and adhering to food hygiene regulations.
  9. Assisting in all aspects of food preparation.
Qualifications
  • Passionate chef with culinary training and experience.
  • Proven ability to manage all stations on the line.
  • Desire to operationally support the business as an individual and leader.
  • Well-versed in email etiquette and communication.
  • Strong communicator, collaborator, and motivator.
  • Proactive team player who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $23.00/Hr. - $25.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
