Wet Willie's in Los Angeles is seeking a seasoned kitchen supervisor to lead daily cooking and prep tasks, maintain high sanitation standards, and ensure product rotation and quality. You will train staff, supervise performance, and collaborate with the Chef/Manager to uphold productivity standards.
The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining humor and poise.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area throughout shift.
Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station. Break down and clean station thoroughly every day.
Ensure proper rotation of all products to par. Label, day dot, and sign all products. Obtain Chef/Manager signature on all products.
Must be dressed and well-groomed in Company approved uniform at all times.
Adherence to Company and Safety Policies and Procedures.
Ensure good turnover of products by practicing proper rotation and maintaining.
Monitor staff performance, product quality and production flow. Foster improvements where needed.
Hire, train and supervise staff. Participate in activities of cooks and other team members involved in preparing, cooking and presenting food in accordance with Cliftons productivity standards.
Direct staff in proper job functions and proper guest interaction.
Audit food storeroom items for quality and consistency.
Enforce daily sanitation, hand washing and safety codes.
Minimum 5 years’ experience

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast paced and demanding environment while maintaining calmness, composure and a sense of humor.
Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations while maintaining the highest quality of product and other established standards

Must have excellent verbal and written communication
Must have flexibility with schedule requirements
