TETRAHED INC is seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our Washington-based engineering team. This full-time role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career engineers who want to build real-world, high-scale systems and contribute to production code.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain software features using Java and/or Python, collaborate with senior engineers and product managers, and participate in code reviews and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 0–2 years of professional software development experience (internships, co-ops, or strong academic projects count).
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), basic Linux/Unix commands, and software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• OPT (F-1) visa status or eligibility preferred; we support OPT candidates.

Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 / year

About The Role
