Location: 4 days/week onsite in Merrifield, VA – Mosaic District

ASCENDING Inc, is an Advanced AWS partner specializing in Cloud Migrations, custom web app development, data analytics/big data, and DevOps. We are seeking an Entry Level Software Engineer to join our consulting services group.

The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in a Software Engineering role working with Python and/or NodeJS. A willingness to learn and work with various languages depending on client needs is essential. AWS experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or physics
• Experience in Python development environments
• Strong coding skills with Python
• Good understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in backend development

Preferred:

• Experience with AWS
• DevOps experience
