Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Research Scientist to lead scientific research advancing clinical trials and developing innovative therapies. The role emphasizes collaborating across biostatistics, clinical teams, and regulatory experts while ensuring ethical standards and regulatory compliance.

You will publish findings, present at conferences, and contribute to strategic directions of research initiatives with approximately 5% travel.

• Maintaining accurate documentation of research activities and ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.
• Publishing findings in scientific journals and presenting at industry conferences to advance clinical research knowledge.

What You Will Do

You will contribute to clinical research activities, taking responsibility for your deliverables and working collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Designing and leading scientific research projects, including clinical trials, in accordance with regulatory standards and study protocols.
• Conducting data analysis, interpreting results, and generating scientific reports to inform the development of new treatments and therapies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including biostatisticians, clinical teams, and regulatory experts, to ensure the success of research projects.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of research activities and ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.
• Publishing research findings in scientific journals and presenting at industry conferences to advance the knowledge base in clinical research.

Your Profile

You will bring relevant clinical research experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required Qualifications And Experience

• PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant scientific field such as biology, chemistry, pharmacology, or clinical research.
• Experience in conducting research within the clinical or pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of managing scientific projects.
• Strong analytical skills and expertise in data interpretation and statistical analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the strategic direction of research initiatives.
• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)
