Job description

Appiphony builds applications for the Salesforce AppExchange and is funded by Salesforce Ventures. Our company is looking for a passionate and curious product marketer to join our team of 40 people. You will be responsible for helping plan and create high-quality content for our growing suite of AppExchange Apps. This includes blog posts, videos, LinkedIn posts, email campaigns, and product-based content. The ideal candidate will have a college degree, preferably in marketing, business, or a related field, and have a keen interest in marketing and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize, plan, and translate product use cases into helpful, compelling content that drives traffic and awareness for our products.
  • Contribute to our evolving content strategy: generate ideas, draft content, and plan distribution across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate technical topics into effective marketing material for specific audiences.
  • Track content performance and adapt based on feedback, engagement metrics, and usage patterns.
  • Learn about Salesforce, the platform on which our products are based, and become familiar with the ecosystem and the role our products play in it.
  • Work closely with our content writer and marketing team to learn the ropes and get mentored on the best practices for creating great content to market our suite of apps.

Requirements:

  • Strong copywriting abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent planning, research, and analytical skills
  • The ability to convey information clearly and concisely
  • Interest or experience in video development
  • A keen interest in technology and a curiosity to learn
  • Extreme sense of ownership
  • Proficient in Google Workspace
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
  • Live in Chicago or the surrounding Chicagoland area so you can attend occasional company on-sites.
