Job summary

Newrez, through The Academy, is seeking a Jr Mortgage Consultant to learn selling loan products and develop borrower leads. You will contact prospective clients, meet with them at outside locations, and engage with real estate agents and financial advisors to build referral sources.

You will engage consumers to determine needs, take loan applications, and provide excellent service while aiming to meet monthly production goals and stay updated on mortgage industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Must pass background check for state licensing.

  • Take mortgage loan applications and prepare effective loan proposals.

Position Summary

At Newrez as a Jr Mortgage Consultant you will learn to sell loan products offered by NewRez. Contact prospective clients to develop and maintain referral sources. Meet with prospective clients at outside locations such as a client’s home. Make in-person calls on real estate agents, financial advisors and other potential referral sources to develop borrower leads.
