Jr. MDM Stibo STEP Data Analyst - Remote Contract with PTO and Health Benefits!

Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $48.00/hr

Contract Type: till the end of the year with possible extension or conversion to FTE

Location: Remote, anywhere in US (Eastern and Central Time zones preferred)

Pay Rate: Depending on Experience

We are looking for a Jr. Data Analyst with some Stibo STEP experience to join our team for ongoing Stibo STEP solution implementation. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strong MDM expertise, offering the opportunity to guide system strategies, mentor a team, and drive data governance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation and enhancement of the Stibo STEP system, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Stibo technical support as needed.
• Assist more experienced Stibo STEP Analysts in validating data for system configurations.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and implement system changes aligned with organizational goals.
• Follow best practices for data governance, data modeling, and data quality assurance.
• Stay informed about Stibo STEP updates and industry trends, proposing and implementing system optimizations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in data integration initiatives, ensuring seamless interaction with other platforms and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (certifications in data management are a plus).
• 1+ years of MDM experience
• Some experience with Stibo STEP data validation, including data modeling, attribute management, and workflows.
• Understanding of data governance, quality, MDM, ETL and data management principles.
• Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data querying/manipulation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with web technologies (HTML, XML) and data exchange formats (CSV, JSON).
• Experience implementing Customer and Product MDM.
• Knowledge of data integration tools and e-commerce or retail industries.
• Familiarity with other data management platforms or tools.
