Jr. Level Civil / Structural Engineer (Entry Level)

Pay Range: $50K - $65K

This is a permanent position with benefits. A local consulting engineering firm is seeking an entry-level Telecom Structural Engineer to perform engineering analysis, design, and calculations for structural design of telecommunication installations on towers, mounting systems, buildings, concrete foundations, rooftops, platforms, and water tanks. We are currently seeking three candidates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; emphasis in Structural Engineering is strongly preferred.
• Ability to run structural calculations; college project work is acceptable.
• Ability to evaluate designs for effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
• Ability to perform site investigations of existing structures for wireless equipment addition.
• Develop structural drawings and reinforcement details for wireless structures.
• Design and/or draft modifications for towers in overstressed conditions.
• Review engineering service requests for completeness.
• Provide accurate project status reports.
• Assist in developing engineering tools and processes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Maintain project timelines and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Candidates must pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
