Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions (CNDS) is seeking an Information Technology Analyst – Junior to identify and analyze compromised information for the Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO). This role requires an active Top-Secret clearance and US citizenship or permanent resident status.

You will use advanced tools, AI, data science, and knowledge management to assess the scope and impact of compromises, report findings, and provide technical recommendations for improved security and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience analyzing data, identifying compromised data, assessing data, and presenting solutions.
• Experience with enterprise IT systems and government/ Army experience preferred.
• Must be very detail oriented and able to communicate findings clearly.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

The Information Technology Analyst – Junior will identify and analyze compromised information for the Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO).

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Information Technology Analyst- Junior :

Pay commensurate with experience.

• The Information Technology Analyst – Jr. will identify and analyze compromised information using advanced tools, leverage government-provided artificial intelligence (AI), data science, and knowledge management tools to analyze compromised information. This includes identifying critical program information (CPI), critical technical information (CTI), and proprietary data that may have been exposed, supporting rapid and accurate detection of security breaches, and framing analysis against technical, operational and programmatic lanes.


• Assess and report on the scope and impact of compromises: thoroughly assess the scope, content, and sensitivity of exposed information, developing detailed assessment reports and providing comprehensive analysis on the nature of each compromise. This includes evaluating affected systems and operational impacts – supporting mitigation strategies and decision-making.


• Provide technical recommendations: evaluate and provide technical feedback and recommendations to improve system features and prioritize enhancements, ensuring more effective compromise assessments and risk mitigation in the future.


• Communicate technical concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Support continuous improvement and innovation.


• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Information Technology Analyst- Junior Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.


• 2+ years of experience analyzing data, identifying compromised data, assessing data, and presenting solutions.


• Experience working with enterprise IT systems, data analysis and government/Army experience preferred.


• Must be very detailed oriented.


• Strong experience across the full data lifecycle (requirements, data sourcing, transformation, modeling, visualization).


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
