Job summary

Corvallis School District is seeking a Jr. High Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year.

This internal-only seasonal position coaches the middle school girls basketball program during the winter season and involves coordinating all aspects of the program. Responsibilities include working with feeder programs, assisting in coaching staff selection, promoting the sport, maintaining statistics, and ensuring compliance with school and OSAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basketball coaching experience at the middle school level.
• Experience in all aspects of basketball coaching.
• Ability to develop rapport with students, athletes, parents and coaches.
• High ethical and professional standards.
• Ability to motivate student/athletes and coaches.
• Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion, and Steroid training and Current First Aid Certification (can be completed upon hiring).
• Oregon Teaching License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the middleschool program.
• Work with and help give direction to all programs that feed into the middleschool.
