Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Job Description

The Jr. Graphic Designer works closely with the VPs of Theatrical Print and the Creative Director.

This position will help create concepts and designs used across multiple platforms including outdoor, in-theater and various theatrical materials from concept to finish.

  • Entry level position being part of a team responsible for original creative concepts for theatrical printed materials
  • Break down approved key art into various shapes for outdoor campaigns and premiere signage
  • Responsible for successfully developing several projects simultaneously
  • Work closely with the VPs of theatrical print and Creative Director in all steps of the concept, layout and approval process
  • Ensure all creative strategies are effectively implemented in processes like scheduling, production support, and presentations

Qualifications

Basic Requirements :

  • Ability to successfully develop and manage several projects simultaneously
  • Strong execution skills in Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
  • Demonstrated understanding of Motion Graphics
  • Ability to accept guidance and respond well to feedback
  • Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, Advertising, Graphic Design or related field
  • Available to work varied hours and weekends on occasion

Additional Requirements :

This is a temporary assignment with an expected duration of approximately one year.

Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range : $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 (not bonus eligible)
