Job Description: This full-time Sign Production Specialist/Installer position works under the guidance of a senior team member on aspects of the physical production of signs. Sign assembly includes preparing substrates and using appropriate machines and techniques to construct products according to written instructions.

The successful candidate has:

• Sign Installer: 6+ months of experience
• Sign Production: 6+ months of experience
• Graphic Design: 1+ years of experience and training in Adobe Illustrator

The ideal candidate:

• Has a dedicated interest in working at a FASTSIGNS sign shop and can design, produce, and install signs with some training and supervision. Has experience working in a production environment.

Job Summary: (Training over a 2-month period)

Machines: Epson Surecolor S60600 Vinyl Printer, Mimaki Plotter CG160FX2, KalaMistrial Laminator, Colex Sharpcut Router, CWT Applicator Table - operate and maintain equipment

Software: Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Onyx RIP, Corebridge POS, Mimaki FineCut Software

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing signs for printing, cutting, and routing
• Preparing substrates for vinyl application (cutting, plotting, printing, weeding, painting, laminating, cleaning)
• Installing signs (vinyl and dimensional letters) on interior and exterior surfaces
• Performing quality checks against proofs and customer requirements
• Working as part of a team to complete orders accurately and on time
• Reporting inventory levels and reordering stock
• Consulting with customers as needed
• Acting as backup designer and customer service representative (training provided)
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Learning new technologies, skills, and techniques as the company grows
