Job summary

A3 Consulting, LLC is seeking a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to help develop DoD insider threat driven applications. This role focuses on building an enterprise, multitenant big data analysis platform and delivering high-quality code across the full stack.

The candidate will participate in all SDLC phases, contribute to API design, and collaborate with A&A efforts. A3 offers a comprehensive benefits package and a path for growth in a growing federal contracting firm.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field required.
• 3+ years of Java/Spring Framework experience with Boot, MVC, Security, Data, etc.
• 2+ years with JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, REST, HTML/CSS.
• Experience with React/Angular or similar modern JS frameworks.
• PostgreSQL experience and Open Source technologies.

Responsibilities

Job description

A3 Consulting, LLS is seeking a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to support the continued development of the DoD Insider Threat Management driven applications. This candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of a high visibility application that enables the Insider Threat mission throughout the DoD. If you are a seasoned software engineer and have a desired to work for a growing organization, this role is for you.

In this job you will

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain and enterprise-level, multitenant, big data analysis application.
• Perform full stack software development (Java, Spring, JavaScript, React/Angular, REST/APIs, HTML5, CSS, Hibernate, etc.).
• Support all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Provide technical guidance and direction and provide documentation, and presentation support as needed.
• Support Assessment & Authorization (A&A) efforts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Java, Spring Framework – Boot, MVC, Security, Data, etc., Hibernate and/or JPA, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, REST, HTML, CSS, One or more modern JavaScript Frameworks (i.e. React, Angular, Arelia, Vue, etc.), PostgreSQL.
• 2+ years’ experience leveraging Open Source technologies.
• 2+ years’ experience in requirements capture, analysis, and design.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and development methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java Development, Software Design, Software Debugging, Critical Analysis, and Problem Solving.
• Proficiency in the development, implementation, and support of enterprise level software applications.
• Experience writing elegant, readable, maintainable, and well documented code.
• Demonstrated drive to keep current on industry best practices, patterns, and methodologies.
• Passion for development and delivering high quality capabilities.

• Experience developing software in a ServiceNow driven environment
• Experience establishing and evaluating application performance benchmarks.
• Experience with Open Source DEV technologies – Redmine, Jenkins, Tomcat, etc.
• Experience configuring and deploying application to a RHEL environment.
• Experience with development in a Commercial or Government Distributed Architectures cloud (i.e., AWS C2S, AWS GovCloud, etc.)

Salary range

• The salary range of this position is $120,000 - $133,000 commensurate with experience and achievement.
