The Financial Analyst will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This individual will be integral to the company's financial quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis, acquisitions and new developments and special projects. This person will research and analyze financial information and key performance indicator to provide financial and operational insights and support informed business decision making. The position reports to the Senior Director of Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc) taking into account company's goals and financial standing
  • Track and determine company financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts, with a focus on Cost of Goods Sold related expenses (base rent, property taxes, power, connectivity, managed services).
  • Analyze and report on profitability at the product and location level, making recommendations and taking lead on any potential cost savings initiatives
  • Collaborate with multiple teams, including accounting, operations, and engineering
  • Facilitate monthly review meetings to report on budget variances to senior business leaders
  • Develop in-depth knowledge and become a subject matter expert on all things related to Cost of Goods Sold
  • Provide support for ad-hoc requests and projects as needed
  • Support data integrity within various systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
  • One or more years of experience as a financial analyst or in a similar position
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, corporate finance and information analysis
