Job summary

Industrial Air Flow Dynamics (IAFD) is seeking a Junior Foreman to lead a crew on outage projects across the United States. You will oversee teardown and installation activities, manage scaffolding and tools, and ensure work stays on schedule while upholding safety.

The role requires 4+ years of lead experience in industrial construction, willingness to travel, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Seasonal outages October–December with travel to sites nationwide.

• A solid track record of leading crews with little oversight.
• Willingness to travel and work in demanding environments.
• Must be 21+, able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of 6–10 skilled welders, craftsmen, and laborers on outage jobs.
• Oversee teardown and installation of expansion joints.
• Submit reports, photos, and checklists daily.
• Travel to project sites across the US and maintain safety and schedule.

You’ll fly out, land on site, and take charge:Oversee teardown and installation of expansion jointsUse plasma cutters, grinders, hydraulic jacks, and hand toolsWork on scaffolding, inside boilers, and at heights over 100 ftKeep the job running smoothly on time, on spec, and always safeSubmit reports, photos, and checklists dailyThis is seasonal outage work: October–December. When there’s work, you’ll be traveling.
