Industrial Air Flow Dynamics, Inc. seeks a qualified Junior Foreman or Lead Man to head outage crews across the US.

You will supervise 6–10 skilled workers, overseeing teardown and installation of expansion joints, using plasma cutters, grinders, hydraulic jacks, and hand tools, including work at heights and on boilers. The role requires 4+ years of leadership in industrial construction, a high school diploma or GED, and willingness to travel to site locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Junior Foreman or Lead Man in industrial construction.
• Proven track record of leading crews with little oversight.
• A drive to travel and work in demanding environments.
• No issue working around insulation or in tight spaces.
• Must be 21+, able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• High School Diploma or GED.

At Industrial Air Flow Dynamics (IAFD), we’ve spent over 20 years becoming the go-to field service group for the power generation industry. As an Industry Leader, our work takes us inside the biggest power plants across the country, providing IAFD’s turn key repairs to Gas Turbine Exhaust Expansion Joints, HRSG Piping Penetration Seals, HRSG Liner Systems and Casing repairs. What the Job Looks Like:

You’ll lead a crew of 6-10 skilled welders, craftsmen, and laborers on outage jobs. These projects are fast-paced, high-impact, and spread across the US. You’ll fly out, land on site, and take charge:

• Oversee teardown and installation of expansion joints
• Use plasma cutters, grinders, hydraulic jacks, and hand tools
• Work on scaffolding, inside boilers, and at heights over 100 ft
• Keep the job running smoothly on time, on spec, and always safe
• Submit reports, photos, and checklists daily

This is seasonal outage work: October-December. When there’s work, you’ll be traveling. When you’re not on a project, you’re home, with competitive pay to show for it.
