Job summary

Sterling Construction Company, Inc. is seeking an estimating assistant to join our team in the San Antonio area. You will support estimators with quantity takeoffs, bid preparation, and bid submissions, and review plans and specifications for accuracy.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years of experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction plans, design, and engineering principles.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Experience or interest in quantity takeoffs and construction estimating.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Desire to build a long-term career in heavy civil construction estimating.
