Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is recruiting a Junior JavaScript Developer for a long-term onsite contract in Westbury, NY. The position targets recent Computer Science graduates or developers with a strong project portfolio.

You will build and maintain web apps using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, work with databases, and support testing and enhancements. Onsite schedule Monday–Friday with 8:30am–4pm, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
• OR
• Minimum 1 year of professional development experience with a portfolio; GitHub link required.

Junior JavaScript Developer (Onsite)

Looking to launch your software development career? Our client, a respected educational/public sector organization, is seeking a Junior JavaScript Developer for a long-term onsite contract opportunity with excellent benefits, and long-term career stability.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent Computer Science graduates or aspiring developers with hands-on experience and a portfolio of programming projects.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS


• Work with databases and assist with data-related development tasks


• Apply fundamental programming concepts and data structures


• Support application enhancements, testing, and troubleshooting


• Collaborate with technical and business teams on project initiatives

Required Skills

Qualifications

Position Details

• Location: Westbury, NY (100% Onsite)


• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM (35 hours/week)


• Compensation: $35-$39/hour (W2) depending on level of experience
