Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodation may be provided for individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

  • Priority #1 is knowing our business. You will be provided with extensive training on our business and then be expected to take the initiative to maintain and grow this knowledge.

  • Build and maintain cost visibility and optimization by right-sizing compute, finding runaway spend, and reporting on trends.
  • Identify bugs, security issues, performance problems, data quality issues, or architectural mismatches in AI output and either fix them or re-prompt effectively.
  • After you deliver a platform improvement, constantly circle back with the engineers and business partners who use it to confirm it solved the problem and rapidly iterate to improve it.
  • Work in a team setting with other engineers or tackle a problem independently.
Must-Have Qualifications

  • Exposure to cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
  • Exposure to AWS or another cloud platform.
  • Exposure to database administration concepts: users and roles, access, and performance tuning (coursework and projects count).
  • Exposure to monitoring, logging, or observability tooling.
