Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Jr. Critical Infrastructure Engineer to help ensure 100% uptime of data center operations. The role is on-site and works with senior engineers to maintain, support, and optimize facility systems including power, cooling, and life safety.

You will generate reports, support customer installations, and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues. Strong communication and 1–3 years of relevant experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of facility operations experience in data centers or mission-critical environments.
• Familiarity with maintenance management and ticketing software.
• Capable of working in high-pressure, 24/7/365 environments with vendor coordination and emergency response.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Foundational knowledge of UPS, generators, mechanical, and fire safety systems.
• Understanding of building automation, energy management, and control systems for mechanical/electrical infrastructure.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills; ability to meet shifting deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to plan and execute customer solutions, including space, power, and cooling requirements.
• Support daily operations of critical infrastructure systems—power, HVAC, life safety—ensuring optimal performance and rapid incidents response.
• Assist in generating and maintaining up-to-date facility and compliance reports.
• Provide technical support during customer installations and integrations, ensuring successful project completion.
• Address operational issues promptly to uphold 100% uptime commitment.
• Liaise with operations management, vendors, and stakeholders to implement and track solutions.

As a Jr. Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring 100% uptime of our data center operations, supporting mission-critical infrastructure for both the company and our customers. This position reports on-site and works closely with senior engineering staff and site operations teams to maintain, support, and optimize all technical aspects of facility operations.

• Foundational knowledge of mission-critical facility systems, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), generators, mechanical, and fire safety systems.
• Understanding of building automation systems, energy management, and control systems for mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills; ability to meet shifting deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

Compensation

Salary range: $80,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience), plus full benefits package.
