We are currently seeking a Superintendent to work remote and travel to client sites.

We are a prominent consulting and general contractor firm specializing in retrofitting cutting-edge data centers across United States and Canada. We are dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art infrastructure and services to meet the ever-evolving demands of our clients. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Superintendent / Working Foreman to join our Delivery team.

This is a contract to hire position – Traveling the West Coast - Outstanding career growth pathway to being a Construction manager.

The Superintendent / Working Foreman is a full-time entry-level position within the Delivery organization. The WF will manage specific projects on site on working under the direction of a Construction Manager. They ensure that each project they are assigned to, will be delivered with high quality, on time, and under budget. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of project management delivery, is proficient in communication, organization, and service skills and will actively participate in the installation of the contracted solution. The WF is expected to spend a majority of their time at the customer sites managing construction projects and developing relationships with the local customer teams.

Travel: Across United States & Canada is required approximately 80% of the time. The candidate will be expected to spend a majority of his or her time at the customer sites managing construction projects and developing relationships with the local customer teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Coordination: Coordinate on site activities for the project assigned in conjunction with remote Construction Manager.
  • Project Communication: Maintain clear communication with internal teams and clients. Provide daily updates and participate in key meetings to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Project Finances: Coordinate all financial change orders, purchase orders, etc. that occur on site directly with EE remote Construction Manager and delivery team, as needed to ensure accurate billing and timely payments for all stakeholders.
  • Subcontractor Relations: Assist in identifying, onboarding, and managing subcontractors. Define scopes of work, lead bidding processes, and ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
  • Procurement: Assist the construction manager in procurement and logistics of materials and equipment. Ensure timely delivery and cost-effective sourcing for each project site.
  • Construction Standards and Process: Supervise onsite activities while championing company processes and quality standards. Supervise field teams, perform quality control, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Training and Technical Oversight: Ensure subcontractors understand technical solutions and company expectations. Meet personal training goals and support knowledge sharing.
  • General Duties: Understand and apply Enabled Energy’s mission and core solutions. Travel extensively to support projects and collaborate with other managers as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of construction management experience.
  • Advanced MS Office skills and familiarity with project management tools.
  • Use of basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wire strippers/cutters, drills, etc.).
  • Use of specialized power tools (saws, nibblers, impact drivers, etc.).
  • Experience running control wire following best practices for dressing wire, stripping and landing wire ends, choosing and using proper conduit, fittings, grommets, etc.
  • Use of electrical meter to verify conductivity and measure voltage, current, power, power factor, Able to use a computer to configure fans, VFDs, etc;
  • The ability to travel 80% of the time.

Preferred:

  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • HVAC and Mechanical experience a plus
