AGC Multi Material America, Inc. in Tempe, AZ seeks a Junior Buyer to support purchasing of raw materials, packaging and supplies for production.

This entry-level role emphasizes accuracy in purchasing records and assisting inventory management with a clear growth path into Buyer and Senior Buyer roles. You will create and maintain purchase orders in Oracle ERP, track supplier deliveries, obtain quotes, and coordinate inbound shipments to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 0–2 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience using Oracle, D365FO, or similar ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain purchase orders in Oracle ERP.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, order status, and deliveries.
• Track and expedite open orders to support production schedules.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotes and support sourcing activities.
• Coordinate inbound shipments and shipping documentation.
• Reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages.
• Maintain supplier, pricing, and purchasing data within Oracle.
• Collect supplier compliance documentation, including COAs, SDSs, and country-of-origin information.
• Prepare purchasing and inventory reports to support operations and S&OP activities.

About the Role

AGC Multi Material America (AMMA) is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Buyer to support purchasing and supply chain operations. This entry-level role is responsible for purchasing raw materials, packaging, and supplies needed to support production while maintaining accurate purchasing records, tracking supplier deliveries, and supporting inventory management efforts. This position offers a growth path into Buyer and Senior Buyer roles.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience using Oracle, D365FO, or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and import/export documentation is a plus.
