V Opco, LLC is seeking a Jr. Account Executive in New York, NY to oversee specialty accounts and communicate the brand position to luxury retailers. The role requires 1–2 years showroom experience, strong Excel skills, and a keen interest in women’s contemporary fashion.

Hybrid work options may be available; compensation includes an annual salary range and benefits. Responsibilities include developing joint business plans, forecasting trends, and ensuring timely orders, shipments, and payments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–2 years showroom experience.

Jr. Account Executive

Wholesale Full Time New York, NY, US

Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

Title: Jr. Account Executive

Salary Range:$65-70K

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Oversee Specialty accounts
• Understand luxury retailer’s needs including pricing and positioning as related to market strategies and communicate the brands' strength and position in the market
• Utilize confident communication and presentation skills including strong negotiation & persuasion skills
• Create and develop joint business plans with all elements of the business process including Logistics, Merchandising/Promotional strategies, Category Management
• Anticipate near and long term changes to the business and implement strategies/ plans for success
• Develop accurate forecasts on a timely basis and track and interpret past and present sales trends in order to forecast the future
• Stay abreast of industry fashion trends with expert knowledge of the women's better contemporary sportswear markets
• Follow-up and coordinate all ongoing projects in order to meet stated deadlines
  • Actively communicate with partners on ensure seasonal market orders are placed, orders ship and are paid for in a timely manner, and minimums are met.
  • Exceed monthly, quarterly, and seasonal shipping goals for designated accounts.
  • Actively analyze business, track shipping, push reorders, and brainstorm creative ways to drive business.
  • Plan and host seasonal trunkshows for incremental bookings.
  • Ensure all internal logs and reporting is kept up to date.
  • Actively seek out new opportunities within designated territory and strategize growth within the market.
• Must have Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience/showroom experience
• Experience using Microsoft office (emphasis in excel), adobe/PDF, NuOrder and Joor a plus
• Excels with numbers
• Organized and detail oriented
• Strong interest in the fashion industry
