Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse is hiring a Journeys Support Specialist for our Greenfield office. The role focuses on planning, promoting, and coordinating activities and services for Wisconsin families involved in adoption or out-of-home care, in accordance with program contracts.

The position is 20 hours per week in-office with regular travel and outreach throughout the region. Beginning salary is approximately $25/hour and will vary based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• College degree in social work, human services or education preferred.
• Two years of experience or relevant knowledge related to adoption, foster/kinship care, or family services preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, promote, and coordinate activities and services for Wisconsin families involved in adoption or out-of-home care.
• Organize and facilitate family fun events, support groups, and networking opportunities for caregivers and youth.

Background check, driver’s license, reliable transportation, driving record check, and proof of auto insurance are required for this position.
