AECS Inc. is seeking a highly motivated journeyman electrician for construction projects on long-term employment. The role focuses on safe, NEC-compliant electrical installations and on-site reading of blueprints and specifications.

The candidate should have 5 years of electrical construction experience, provide their own hand tools, and be capable of working independently while maintaining production targets and following safety procedures.

Formación

• Knowledge of the Electric Code requirements.
• Must read and interpret blue prints, one line diagrams, wiring diagrams and written specifications.
• Must provide own transportation and hand tools.
• 5 years experience in electrical construction.

Responsabilidades

• Install electrical systems per NEC standards.
• Lay out and installation according to plans.
• Read blue prints, details and specifications for proper installation.
• Diagnose and report electrical problems to the operation manager.
• Work independently and use hand and power tools.
• Maintain installation production targets and relay progress to the operation manager.
• Ensure safety procedures on site.

Primary Responsibilities:

AECS Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated qualified journeyman electrician for construction projects for long-term employment.

This position provides growth opportunities.

Safety:

• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe working procedures
• Follows job site safety procedures.
• Lay Out and Installation
• Follows daily plans as described by the operation manager.
• Reads blue prints, details and specifications for proper installation
• Identifies material needed for assigned jobs and works with operation manager to obtain needed material in a timely manner.
• Installs electrical systems per quality and NEC standards.
• Diagnosis and reports electrical problems to operation manager.
• Works independently
• Uses hand tools and power tool appropriately

Productivity:

• Maintains installation production targets
• Relays progress to operation manager.
• Coaches quality installation practices

Qualification:

• Knowledgeable of the Electric Code requirements
• KNOWLEDGABLE IN RUNNING AND BENDING EMT & RIGID CONDUIT.
• Knowledge of electrical material, components, equipment systems, layout and methods of installation
• Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, one line diagrams, wiring diagram and written specifications.
• Must provide their own transportation and hand tools
• 5 years experience in the electrical construction industry
